The Mount's Education Department offers Multi-age Licensure programs to those who are interested in teaching students from 3 to 21 years of age in the areas of art or music. These programs are accredited by the Teacher Education Accreditation Council (TEAC) and approved by the Ohio Department of Education (ODE).

Students in a Multi-age Licensure program must meet the Core Curriculum requirements of the University while completing course work in their major area of study. They also take a block of professional education courses that provide a strong framework in the philosophy, theory and practice of teaching.

Multi-age teacher preparation programs are offered at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Undergraduate candidates major in art or music.
