The Studio San Giuseppe Gallery is so thrilled to have their student employees featured during Student Employment Appreciation Week.

During Student Employment Appreciation Week, we want to take a moment to highlight the hard work our student employees do throughout the year.  These students are just a few of our amazing student employees who have demonstrated what it means to have the Heart of a Lion:

Ryan Bach (Spring, 2024-Spring, 2025), Dahlia Baer (Fall, 2024-Spring, 2025), and Tori Orbegozo (Fall, 2023-Spring, 2025)

Studio San Giuseppe Gallery Co-Ops and Recruiting and Retention Co-Op

Department: Studio San Giuseppe Art Gallery

Supervisor: Dr. Michaelann Kelley

The three students work very well together and make the work fun. The students are very good at dividing the tasks so everything gets completed, yet they are even better at working together. They each make sure the SSG gallery, recruiting and retention work, and the needs of the department are always met. They all three make sure that the best happens for the department. The three students bring a bright spot to the extensive work load. Each one has their own personality, yet when it is time to be professional they are very on point. Honesty, loyalty, and perseverance are qualities I look for in my cooperative education students. Each of these students has them and brings out the best in each other. I love when they work together. The department has lost a gallery director position and a fine arts position. The co-op students have been excellent at making sure we are continuing with the work in the gallery. They have raised the bar on the turnaround time for gallery shows and the exhibiting artists often comment on the professionalism of the students. I could not accomplishment as much without the hard work of these three students. The gallery shows have been excellent because of the help of these co-ops.

Thanks to these, and all of our student employees, for everything they do; we are so blessed to have you at MSJ!
