Mount St. Joseph News

The community is invited to honor the legendary voice of Cincinnati radio, Jim Scott, at a special celebration of life event on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Mount St. Joseph University. This heartfelt tribute will reflect on Jim’s remarkable personal and professional journey through music and storytelling.

A Celebration of Jim Scott: Music and Memories" honors the life and legacy of Cincinnati radio legend Jim Scott on the first anniversary of his passing.  Jim was beloved for his positive outlook, kindness and tireless voluntarism. He met with grace the indignities of ALS, also known as "Lou Gehrig's disease."  This event benefits the University of Cincinnati Gardner Neurological Institute's ALS Clinic Endowment Fund to provide hands-on assistance to Greater Cincinnati ALS patients.
