Mural Created by MSJ’s Design Hub Located in the Zen Room at the Wellness Center
Last fall, Design Hub transformed the Welloween event into a unique opportunity for creative expression and community bonding. Setting up an Art Booth at the event, Design Hub invited students, staff and faculty to paint whatever brought them joy. The result? A stunning mural made from over 60 canvases, each representing the joy and individuality of MSJ students. Now displayed in the Zen Room at the Wellness Center, this collaborative artwork serves as a vibrant symbol of the creativity and unity within the MSJ community.
The project was spearheaded by Design Hub’s talented team, including founder Prof. Swati Chopra, senior designers Alaina Glass and Macy Hoeing, and junior designer Adam Hale. Their dedication turned a simple idea into a powerful artistic statement that inspires all who visit. This mural isn’t just art; it’s a testament to the MSJ community’s spirit and the role Design Hub plays in fostering creativity, connection, and wellness on campus.
Make sure to check it out next time you’re at the Wellness Center—let it remind you of the joy of creating and connecting with others.
