Two MSJ Psychology Seniors have been accepted to present their senior thesis projects at the 95th annual spring 2023 Midwestern Psychology Associate Conference in Chicago, IL April 20th-22nd.

“The purpose of the MPA annual meeting is to share research across all areas of psychology.

The annual meeting features invited addresses and talks from leading psychologists across the United States, papers and posters addressing a wide range of topics in current psychological science, workshops addressing the teaching of psychology, research methods, and statistics, and discussion groups, roundtables, and social events where members can share ideas and interests.

The annual meeting is open to psychologists, students, and members of the public.”

 

The two MSJ Psychology seniors that have been accepted to present their senior thesis projects at the MPA Conference this April are Erin Kallmeyer and Hope Krieger.

 

Erin Kallmeyer’s senior thesis topic: Effects of online vs. in-person learning on students’ academic achievement.

 

Hope Krieger’s senior thesis topic: Effects of lavender and expectations about lavender on heart rate and state anxiety.
