Biography:

Jennifer Naegele. M.Ed., is a Clinical Faculty member in the Reading Science Program, located in the School of Education at Mount St. Joseph University. In this position, she helps graduate students understand reading research and its impact on reading instruction. She also provides coaching and support to administrators and teachers in local school districts for Mount St. Joseph University’s Center for Reading Science. In her previous position as a Literacy Coach and Reading Specialist for a large, urban school district in Cincinnati, she provided coaching and support to administrators and teachers as well as reading intervention to students in grades K-8.

Ms. Naegele is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Reading Science Education from Mount St. Joseph University, and holds Masters degrees in School Leadership and Early Childhood Education as well as an Ohio Reading Endorsement. She is a certified Orton-Gillingham practitioner and has been coaching and supervising teachers in Orton-Gillingham practices since 2012. Early in her career, she taught Montessori preschool and kindergarten at a small, private school and provided Orton-Gillingham tutoring at the Cincinnati Children’s Dyslexia Center.
